For Iranians, Türkiye is the closest foreign destination: visa-free entry for up to 90 days, a familiar culture, flights and a land border, and varied routes to residence, citizenship by investment, work and study. Several important changes came in 2026: the closed-neighbourhood limit was lifted in practice, a new tax law brought a 20-year exemption on foreign income, and banks became stricter with Iranian nationals. Imperial has an office in Istanbul.
