Company registration in Georgia

A limited liability company (LLC) can be registered in Georgia in 1 working day for GEL 100 at the Public Service Hall, with 100% foreign ownership allowed. Corporate tax is 15% only on distributed profit (the Estonian model). But since 1 March 2026 you also need a work permit to work in your own company, and opening a bank account has become strict for Iranians.

3. Register with the tax office and, if needed, for VAT (turnover over GEL 100,000)
4. Open the company bank account
5. Get work permits for the foreign director or employees

The company and residence
