The United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) is one of the world's main destinations for study and skilled work. In 2026 most people move to the UK through the Skilled Worker visa, top-talent routes (Global Talent and HPI), innovative entrepreneurship (Innovator Founder), study and family. Buying property or investing alone does not give residence.
