The Skilled Worker visa is the most common work route to the UK. Since 22 July 2025 only graduate-level jobs (RQF 6) qualify, and the minimum salary is £41,700 a year (or the job's going rate, whichever is higher). Since 8 January 2026, B2 English is required.

Family
The partner and children under 18 of Skilled Workers in RQF 6 jobs can come too, and the partner may work. Jobs below RQF 6 on the Temporary Shortage List cannot bring dependants.
